Usage Analytics and Audit Trail

Usage analytics and audit trail is the VibeControls concept for understanding what a workspace has actually done. The analytics page turns fleet activity into counts over a chosen period, and the audit log records each individual operation with its actor, resource and outcome. One answers how much; the other answers who, what and when.

Engineering leaders want to know whether agents, sessions, actions and AI runs are being used and whether they succeed, and security and compliance reviewers need evidence of who changed what. Assembling that from terminals, chat history and scattered logs is slow and incomplete. The concept keeps both views in the Insights section, drawn from the same record of workspace events.

The analytics illustration opens with a toolbar to pick a date range and a time grouping, refresh and filter, followed by tabs for Overview, Agents, Sessions, Sandbox, Vibes, Actions, VibeDeck, AI Events, Audit and Docs. The overview is a grid of metric tiles covering agents, targets, sessions, vibes, actions with a success rate, executions with an average duration, AI events, webhooks, vibe decks, audit log entries and docs, with small bar charts among them and Export CSV and Print buttons. The audit illustration adds a retention notice, summary cards for total, successful and failed entries and the retention period, filters for action, resource, status, agent and vibe, a Commands only toggle, and a selectable table of events with time, action, resource, name, actor, status and row actions, plus an Export button.

Together the two screens are designed to close the loop on governance. A jump in activity on the analytics page can be traced to the individual entries behind it, including denied operations and warnings, and both views can be exported for a review. Because every agent, session and vibe belongs to a workspace, the trail is meant to cover people, apps and agents alike.
